Food
We provide a chicken and rice/veg complete dry food. But if you wish we can keep your dog on your own food (advised if on a special diet or puppy food), but please provide detailed instructions on quantity (Please provide the measuring cup that you use so we can be sure that the correct amount of food is given to your dog) and how often to feed. We do not allow raw feed on the premises due to hygiene and storage.
Medication
If your dog is on medication, please provide detailed instructions with how much and how often they need it.
Bedding
We can provide all dogs with vet bed, but we do advise that you bring along something that smells of home. We do not take responsibility for damage to bedding. We will not accept bean bag style bedding and do not advise unnatural stuffed beds due to the risk of ingestion.
Vaccination
Please make sure that you have your vaccination card with you and that your dog is up to date with their vaccinations and yearly boosters. We do not insist on kennel cough but if given it needs to be at least 16 days prior to the dog’s visit (this is because the vaccine is live and can be spread from dog to dog). If unsure, please ring to confirm.
Drop Off Procedure
When you arrive please come up the drive and park in front of the house. If the gates are closed please wait for us to come and open them for you or please ring (numbers can be found on the sign at the bottom of the building under the sign for reception). Please DO NOT open or close the gates as there may be dogs getting out of a car already in the drive way and also to coincide with covid regulation to reduce the risk of spread.
Please keep your dog/s in the car. We will close the gates for your dog/s safety. If it is very hot we will check your vaccination card and microchip number and put your dogs into the kennels before carrying on with the rest of the admission forms.
